Lagos -The Lagos State Football Association (LSFA) on Tuesday rolled out its blueprint for soccer development, saying it would streamline football administration in the state.
One of the measures was to regularise all football competitions in the state, according to LSFA Chairman, Seyi Akinwunmi.

“The era of all manners of football competitions without standard is now over,” declared the chairman, who was elected on Jan. 10.
He promised that its various competitions including the state league, J-League, female league Oba Cup, Street Soccer and Beach soccer were made attractive to sponsors and spectators.
He said the board would, as a matter of urgency, ensure that clubs from the state gained promotion to the Nigeria Premier League (NPL).
“In order to achieve set goals, it is imperative that the administration of football in the state is transparent, responsible, effective and modern so that the game of football in Lagos State can regain its feel good factor.”
He promised that the board would bring back the glory days of football in Lagos by providing strong leadership and collective responsibility. (NAN)
