MR Sunny Onuesoke, a former Peoples Democratic Party, PDP governorship aspirant in Delta State, has called on the Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC, to introduce on-line voter registration exercises in the country.

Onuesoke, who made the call in Edjeba, Agbarha-Otor, Ughelli North Local Government Area, while fielding questions from newsmen, shortly after he was registered, said the introduction of the on-line registrations for eligible voters will be faster and  cost effective than the DDC machines currently in use.

According to him, “all  we need to do is to set up temporary internet facilities. It is a very mobile and simple technology.”

Saying that the ongoing exercise was very peaceful in Agbarha-Otor, he added that the availability of the DDC machines in the area was very encouraging and called on INEC to extend the period for the exercise by at least three weeks.
