Amaechi promises quality leadership

GOVERNOR Chibuike Amaechi, has expressed gratitude to delegates of his Peoples Democratic Party, PDP,  for voting for him at the governorship primaries election, which took place, weekend, in Port Harcourt.

In a statement  by his acting Chief Press Secretary, Mr Blessing Wekina, the Governor assured that he will reciprocate their trust by making sure his administration continue to deliver quality leadership to the state.

The Governor also thanked elders of the party, and all persons who worked assiduously towards the success of the party’s gubernatorial primaries in the state.

The statement also expressed gratitude to the Director-General and members of the Amaechi Re-election Campaign Organisation, the security personnel and other stakeholders, for finding him worthy of the honour.

“We look forward to a peaceful electioneering period in our state.”

The Governor also called on stakeholders in the state “to promote peace all through this election period in the state.”

The Governor promised to reconcile with party faithful, who  lost their various seats in the last primaries, just as he noted that all efforts should be geared towards security and victory for the party at the general polls. “Let us begin the reconciliation process now,” he added.
