Nigeria Governors’ Forum welcomes Uduaghan back

THE Nigeria Governors’ Forum, NGF, has written a letter to Dr. Emmanuel Uduaghan to formally welcome him back to the forum.

The letter which was by Aishana Okauru, Director Genaral of the forum, congratulated Uduaghan and said his victory at the poll was a reaffirmation of the people’s confidence in his leadership.

“On behalf of the Chairman and members of the Nigeria Governors’ Forum, I wish to welcome Dr Uduaghan back to the Forum after a successful re-run election as ordered by the Court of Appeal Tribunal and conducted on January 6, 2011 by the Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC.

We congratulate your success, which is a re-affirmation of the people’s confidence in your leadership.

“This process has proven once again the progress Nigeria has made in growing our democracy by enhancing the integrity of our electoral environment.

“The Forum commends INEC, the Nigeria Police Force and all other law enforcement agencies for a job well done as we look forward to the successful conduct of the forthcoming elections.

“We urge the Governor to continue pursuing his people oriented programmes and extending the dividends of democracy to all Deltans across party lines. We wish you  a successful tenure,” the statement added.
