As Nigerians hope to see a transformed new year in the area of sports, former Super Eagles coach, Adeboye Onigbinde has urged the Nigeria Football Federation, NFF to focus more on the problems that caused the country’s flop last year.

According to the Modakeke High chief, for the country to move forward, there should be a survey on how things went last year as that would give room for one to know the problems behind the poor performance.

“Every sports loving Nigerian can attest to our huge failure in football last year.  The only team that gave us a little hope were the Falcons who put up a brilliant performance at the African Women Championship in South Africa.

“In 2011 we should be able to do a proper survey in order for us to know the problems that led to our failure last year as only this can help us make amends in this New Year,” Onigbinde said.
