Action Congress of Nigeria (ACN) Governorship aspirant in Kwara, Mr Muhammed Dele Belgore, has described as “most disappointing and unbefitting of a leader” media reports in which the former Senate Leader, Dr Olusola Saraki, referred to political aspirants in the state as ‘every idiot.’

In a statement, Belgore, a Senior Advocate of Nigeria (SAN), argued that the Saraki dynasty ought to appreciate Kwarans for being humble and loyal rather than call them demeaning names which lend credence to public perception that people of the state are in perpetual servitude to him.

“Saraki was quoted in media reports as criticising his son- Governor Bukola – for “letting the political system loose for every idiot to start behaving like a tin god.” Belgore, who berated the former lawmaker, argued that the comments underscored the fact that Saraki holds Kwarans in “deep-seated contempt” and called on the people to prove to the dynasty through the 2011 ballot that their calmness and loyalty is not the same as idiocy/”.
