Equitorial Trust Bank (ETB) will continue to appreciate its customers by providing customer-oriented products and services beyond their expectations, says Mr. Gbolahan Folayan, Managing Director and Chief Executive of the bank.
He said this while thanking all stakeholders in the ETB project, particularly the customers, for their abiding faith and continued patronage through the year.
Speaking on Monday, Folayan commended the bank’s customers for their understanding after the management change and assured all clients that “ETB will continue to appreciate them by providing customer-oriented products and services beyond their expectations. ETB will remain customers’ delight’”.
While also commending the staff of the bank for their loyalty and commitment during the year, the ETB boss reiterated the need to “work as a team to realize our objective to be a reference financial institution in the nation’s banking sector”, adding that the management will ensure that hard work and exceptional performance are rewarded.
To sustain its position as bank for the new Nigeria and in line with its mandate to be the most reliable financial institution in the industry especially in the area of mass marketing, Mr. Folayan stated that the bank will continue to repackage its various retail products to add more value and meet the banking needs of its customers.
“The customers of the bank will continue to get additional value especially by way of introducing customer friendly products that would meet their needs and aspirations into the market”, he added.
And as the bank consolidates on its position as a front runner in international money transfer through MoneyGram, Mr. Folayan reiterated the bank’s resolve to continue to dominate the international money transfer market through the provision of top quality MoneyGram service to customers.
His words: “ETB will continue to provide the necessary human and material resources, give adequate training to staff handling MoneyGram transactions and expand the operational base of the bank with emphasis on opening of MoneyGram dedicated shops “Redshops” throughout the country. The bank is upgrading its IT facilities to provide seamless turnaround time of under three minutes for customers”.
It will be recalled that Mr. Jeffrey Gorsuch, Vice President, Global Procurement Services, MoneyGram International had during a visit to the bank noted that the expansion of MoneyGram business by ETB through the establishment of dedicated MoneyGram Redshops in its branches will go a long way to fully position the bank as a superior provider of MoneyGram services in the country “as such developments will give the opportunity for customers to enjoy MoneyGram services in their various locations”.
