THE Inspector-General of Police, IGP Hafiz Ringim, has passed a voted of no confidence on the Nigeria Police Force for their failure to arrest the persistent insecurity situation in Borno State.

Ringim stated this while addressing the Police at the end of the one-day official engagement where he equally received 30 new patrol vehicles donated by the Borno State Government.

He said: “It is a shame and disgrace that over a year now after attacking our Barracks, killing our Policemen and violating our women, nobody can tell me anything of their (Boko Haram sect members) whereabout, and yet you are paid salaries.

“I feel ashamed that you have not been able to fish out the vagabonds. Information reaching me is that some of you are their members. I do not want to believe it but how do they know our movements?

“We are building a new Police Force because government is embarrassed about the level of performance of the police,” he said.
