Former Golden Eaglets coach Henry Nwosu has urged the Nigeria Premier League, NPL to do their best in securing a title sponsor for the league. But he was quick to add that NPL has so far done a good job.

“Well, I must say the league this season has improved in some ways, talking about officiating and the rest of them despite the absence of title sponsor.

“I’m not praising the management for not having a sponsor but the fact that they are able to run the league up till now shows they are working. But it is imperative that they secure a title sponsor. Without a title sponsor, it will be difficult in the long run for both NPL and the teams competing in the league,” Nwosu said
