BARELY twenty-four hours after the release of the revised timetable for the 2011 general elections by the Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC, the national leadership of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP met yesterday for several hours to deliberate on it.
The meeting which took place at the PDP Presidential Campaign office, Legacy House, Maitama, was held for over five hours with the National Chairman, Dr. Okwesilieze Nwodo presiding.
Vanguard gathered Wednesday that because a quorum was not formed, members could not discuss very salient issues and a committee was immediately set up to come up a timetable next week for the entire house to discuss.
Meanwhile, the National Chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, Dr. Okwesilieze Nwodo has concluded arrangements to meet with the leadership of the National Assembly on the electoral Act.
