UGHELLI — A senatorial aspirant in the Delta North Senatorial District, Prince Ned Nwoko, has pledged his preparedness to render quality service to the people of the district if elected.

Nwoko stated this while chatting with newsmen shortly after he played host to councillors in the district. He said he decided to meet one on one with them as the grassroot representatives to enable them have a first hand knowledge of him especially as an aspirant seeking to represent the senatorial district at the National Assembly.

He told the councillors that when he was in the House of Representatives, he moved so many bills that were passed into law, naming such bills to include; the national minimum wage, monetisation, dualisation and construction/rehabilitation of roads.

He said he offered his allowances and salaries for the four years in the National Assembly to the less privileged as well as for the education of so many youths of the Aniocha/Oshimili Federal Constituency.

Saying that there was need for any aspirant that has the genuine interest and love at heart of his people to relate with them, he described councilors as representatives of the people at the grassroot.

While soliciting for the support of the councilors, he urged the local council law makers to search their minds and ensure they cast their votes for a credible representative that could give quality representation to the people.
