Fraud: Reverend, two others docked over fake NFA contract

A Reverend, Akanji Kehinde  and two others have been dragged before an Ikeja High Court for allegedly defrauding one Rose Patrick to the tune of N7 million over a non existing Nigeria Football Association, NFA contract.

Kehinde who was arraigned alongside Enoch Idris , Amuzio Oku-an by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC were arraigned on a 7-count charge of conspiracy and defrauding their victim of the aforementioned amount of money under the pretext of helping her to secure a contract with the NFA.

The accused persons who were operating under the names of the following associations- Communication Development Company, MT Olives and Stephen Limited and Utex Nig Limited were said to have collected the said amount from BMV Production limited, owned by Rose Patrick at different times.

The Reverend and others were said to have collected the money to facilitate  compulsory contract registration for BMV Productions Limited to secure contract of providing promotional gift items and advertisements with the NFA..
The defendants however pleaded not guilty to the 7-count charge.
