ABUJA – Aftermath of the alleged threat that a faceless group would bomb the headquarters of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC, security operatives have beefed up security at the headquarters of the anti-graft agency.

The three major entry and exit routes now have check points manned by police men who insist booths of cars must be opened for routine checks before allowing entry into the parking lot of the commission.

Commercial vehicles were barred from parking in the lot as they were asked to move away from the precincts of the anti-graft agency or they would impound the vehicles.

Last Thursday, Head, Media and Publicity, of the agency, Mr Femi Babafemi had addressed a press briefing where he explained that several threat messages had been sent to some media executives threatening that the headquarters of the commission would be bombed on November 6.
