As the Nigeria Premier League, NPL kicks-off upper weekend, former Golden Eagles coach Henry Nwosu says he wants to see  a better league with good standard this season.

The former Green Eagles player, said with the problems encountered in the league last season he hopes to see a well developed league.

“I thank God that we are approaching another season despite all that happened last season. And I believe we have put behind  us what happened last season. Now that the league  is about to start I just hope every problem encountered last season have been rectified with the mind to running of the league in a proper matter.
“As the league starts I want to see a league with proper organization.

A league where  players welfare are  taken care of alongside  sign-on fees. “A  league where coaches are also paid there salaries and referees are properly protected during the match. One important thing I want club owners to do  without is on the aspect of  winning at all cost both home and away, there by paving way for hooliganism. These are the things I want to see in this season.

“Its now boils down to the management or handlers to effect such change so that things can be better,” he said
