Alder Consulting, CCC to train 1,000 youths annually

Alder Consulting in collaboration with Covenant Christian Centre, CCC, said they are partnering to close the yearning vacuum created in leadership positions in Nigeria by training 1,000 persons annually.

The intervention programme tagged; Governance 500 and Enterprise 500 is aimed at training and equipping 500 youths respectively on the platforms to create an informed and credible network that will make a difference in the nation’s government and business history of the nation.

Leke Alder, Principal, Alder Consulting said that the greatest mitigator of the hopes of generations has been that of challenge of leadership.”The problem is not so much with our institutions. We have the same institutions of state like the successful nations of the world.’

Continuing, Alder observed that Nigeria’s challenge has been that of the operators of the instruments of governance, from the south to the north.

For these reasons, the firm in collaborating with the Christian Centre is set to train Nigerian’s in various field of leadership.
He recalled that many of those that initiated the journey of Nigeria into nationhood are no longer living.

The script developers of Nigeria’s national history have become paragraphs of Nigeria’s history book. The founding fathers are all gone. The remaining ones never failed to Nigerians that what is now obtainable was not what was bargained for.

Alder went on to say that those who aspire to power must be schooled in the art of governance and politics. They must economics, history and about policy development. “Without this, this issues that have bedeviled Nigeria in the last 50 years will continue to dog our nation like a stubborn and persistent witch’s curse,” he stated.

Further, the Principal Consultant said, “this is not time for hues and cries. This is the time for action. We must take strategic steps to design our future. Our conscious creation of the future must start with the education of those who will control our future through politics and governance. A novice must not ascend the dais of power. The consequences have been dire and will be dire. The nation will further be plunged into an orgy of violence and confusion, he warned.
