They are fighting for their pockets and only God will deliver us from their hands.  It is obvious that they want to satisfy themselves. It is not in the interest of Nigerians. From what we are seeing, it is obvious that the politicians are in business. I even learned that a former governor, who is a senator has concluded plans to defect. They are shameless people.

They are not fighting for us, no plan for Nigerians and that is why they fight their way to the top. Buhari was determined to help the masses but the Senate disturbed his good intention. Many of them want to get Presidential ticket and that is why they are cross-carpeting but we won’t vote for such people. Never! We will vote for the people who will take care of the masses.

The defections are for selfish reasons but if you ask them, they’ will say it is for the benefit of the masses.They are just playing games. They are migrating like rats running from one room to another and keep saying they are working for us. If you needed to trust anyone, trust yourself first. They defect just for the sake of power.

It is not a new development. Nigerian politicians always engage in this. The defections have absolutely nothing to do with the interest  of Nigerians. It is all about personal interest.
If they could not get it right with the government which they were part of for almost four years, what do they have to offer to the new party they just joined? We are just seeing one of the features of Nigerian politics.

Nigeria’s democracy is a merry go round show. I thought All Progressives Congress ,APC, should know this. Just three years ago, they celebrated and benefited from the defections, now they are crying foul because this same political gladiators have decided to return to their base. APC, stop being mischevious and malicious and concentrate on how to win the confidence of your supporters. This is one bad thing about humans. Because their party is losing they are crying.

Nigeria’s democracy  is evolving, no short cut. We have been there twice before in 1964/65 and 1983. Tolerance, political culture and patriotic nationalism are never transferred, they are developed from within. You can’t reform a dictator. We must be able to crawl, walk, run before flying. Education and health must be a priority and right of all. The greed we experience is part of primitive thinking. How does a man convert a public school into a private business concern? This is just a phase.
