Rev. Idahosa

BENIN—PRESIDING Archbishop of the Church of God International Incorporated, Mrs Margaret Benson-Idahosa, has called on politicians to eschew do-or-die politics by allowing the wishes of Nigerians to prevail in 2019 general election.
She urged Nigerians, irrespective of party affiliation to play politics according to the rules and embrace peace for God’s will to prevail in the country.
She spoke, weekend, during a visit by members of the Correspondents Chapel of Nigeria Union of Journalists, NUJ, Edo State Council in commemeration of her 75th birthday anniversary.
She said: “We are saying to them (politicians) that it is not do-or-die. Enough is enough. Let us do it the way that God wants us to do it. There is no reason for killing and destruction of property. Once a life is gone, it is gone. That page is close. Death is final. There is nothing anyone can do about death.
“As for 2019 general election, I believe God has put us here and whatever we say or desire will come to pass. I believe the will of God must be done in Nigeria. Not the will of the enemies, but the will of God. God has made us, Nigeria, and he put us here and no one can eradicate Nigeria.”
