Nigeria and Germany will begin their 2018 FIFA U-20 Women World Cup with a clash in Group D opening game on Monday.  The match comes up Monday, 12.30 pm.

Falconets

The Falconets who progressed to the semifinals of the World Cup in 2010 and 2014 are drawn in group D alongside Haiti, China, and Germany.

The Falconets will aim to surpass their previous outing in 2016 where they failed to progress beyond the group stage of the competition.

The Nigerian girls will also face China and Haiti at the tournament.

In preparation to perform better than the last outing the Nigerian Football Federation (NFF) camped the players in Austria. After the camping period Danjuma released his list of players before the deadline for submission by the World football governing body.
