Kwara  United coach Kadiri  Ikhana says he can vouch for Samson Siasia as a good coach  who is capable of handling the national team if given the opportunity by the Nigeria Football Association.

According to him, Siasia’s exploits with the U-23 national team alongside his  experience as a player is an added advantage.

However,  the former Enyimba coach stressed that when compared with former Togo and Mali national teams coach,  Stephen Keshi, Siasia is no match.

According to him, “Keshi is more experienced as a coach and a better choice for the Super Eagles job”.
According to him, Keshi is better than Siasia, owing to the fact that he has managed national teams within and outside the shores of the country .

“No doubt, both coaches are good if given the chance. I support the two of them to handle the national team, because they know the job very well and also know the players. But if you look at both coaches, you will find out that Keshi is more grounded  than Siasia tactically and technically.

“While Siasia has proved himself locally, Keshi has proved himself both locally and internationally in the coaching job. Frankly speaking the national team needs somebody that is widely exposed in all angles.

It is not a child’s play, employing a coach should not be based on sentiment. We need able people who will coach the Super Eagles. I’m not saying Siasia is not good enough but if you ask me, Keshi  has a vast knowledge of the game,” he said.
