Supporters’ club now on Glo free calls package

MOBILE Telecommunication giant, Globacom Nigeria limited has continued to fulfill its pledge by providing enablements to the members of the Nigeria Football Supporters Club as it presented a total of 3,000 GloMobile ‘Close Users Group (CUG) sim cards designed to enhance communication among members of the club
It also unveiled the first draw of Glo Manchester United ‘recharge and go to Old Trafford base of the Manchester United’ promo.

SUPPORTERSHIP… Members of the Nigeria Football Supporters Club doing what they know best to do.At a ceremony in Lagos yesterday Glo officials said members of the Nigeria Football Supporters Club will henceforth enjoy free calls on the Glo network courtesy of a unique package. With the offer, members of the club will now be able to call each other free upon the payment of a monthly rental fee of just N1,000.

Group Chief Operating Officer of Globacom, Mohamed Jameel, explained that the objective of the package was to strengthen the bond between football supporters by offering them convenient tariff and full benefits of the Glo Mobile network offerings.

“This is another gesture from Globacom to the Supporters Club towards building them into a united force behind the Nigeria national teams. We are willing to extend similar opportunities to other groups that desire to draw from the benefits available on the Glo Mobile network,” Jameel said.

He noted that Globacom was a huge supporter of football in Nigeria and would, as such, support efforts aimed at promoting the game in the country. Jameel said the company was proud of the achievements of the football supporters club and would continue to support every endeavour aimed at promoting Nigerian football.

“As a corporate citizen of Nigeria, Glo is your brand. We will always identify with you and your passions,” he stated. We believe that this communication package will help bind you together and assist you in the selfless service you render to the development of Nigerian football,” the GCOO added.

President General of the Nigerian Sports Supporters Club, Dr Rafiu Ladipo, who received the package, commended Globacom for the gesture which he said would improve communication among members.
