The Managing Director of Powell Homes and Shelters Ltd, Architect Dr. Chibuikem Onyekachi Emmanuel, has completed the Policy Strategy and Leadership Course (PSLC) at the National Institute for Policy and Strategic Studies (NIPSS), Kuru, Plateau State.

Onyekachi was among participants who completed the PSLC 59 programme in September 2026 after months of academic work, assignments and outdoor activities.

Speaking with journalists after receiving his certificate, he described the achievement as a significant milestone in his leadership and career development.

He said the demanding nature of the programme, which involved a heavy academic workload and rigorous outdoor assignments, had tested his resilience and discipline.

According to him, the experience strengthened his ability to work under pressure and deepened his understanding of public policy, strategic planning, leadership and decision-making.

He said he intended to apply the knowledge gained to his professional responsibilities and the management of Powell Homes and Shelters Ltd.

Onyekachi commended the management and faculty of NIPSS for creating an intellectually challenging environment that promoted critical thinking and the exchange of ideas among participants from diverse professional backgrounds.

He also urged business executives and aspiring leaders to embrace continuous learning, noting that effective leadership required sound judgement, strategic thinking and adaptability.

The architect said completing the programme had renewed his commitment to professional excellence, organisational growth and improved service delivery.
