Nigeria’s Ambassador to Hungary, with concurrent accreditation to Serbia, Croatia, Slovenia and Bosnia & Herzegovina, Abass Braimah, has begun engaging Nigerian communities in his countries of accreditation, including students, days after presenting his Letter of Credence.
Braimah met with members of the Nigerian community in Belgrade, Serbia, where he assured them of the government’s support for their welfare and encouraged them to maintain good conduct in their host country.
He urged Nigerians to respect the laws of their host countries and conduct themselves in ways that would promote the image of Nigeria.
The ambassador also assured the community that the embassy would remain accessible throughout his tenure, encouraging Nigerians to approach it whenever they face individual or collective challenges.
Braimah said his role was to serve the interests of all Nigerians within his areas of diplomatic responsibility.
