Paragon Digitech Solutions Ltd is working to simplify Bitcoin access for everyday Nigerians through its flagship platform, the Paragon Crypto App.

The company said the app is designed to address long-standing barriers that have made cryptocurrency trading difficult for local users, including complicated processes, limited payment options and interfaces not tailored to the Nigerian market.

According to the company’s spokesperson, Obiora Chibueze Paul, the platform prioritises ease of use, security and accessibility.

“We are making Bitcoin purchase easier for Nigerians,” Paul said, stressing the firm’s commitment to delivering a seamless experience for both first-time and experienced crypto users.

The Paragon Crypto App enables users to buy, sell and hold cryptocurrency using familiar local payment methods. It features a straightforward interface, flexible pricing and security measures intended to protect users’ funds and personal data.

The company explained that its approach is shaped by years of practical experience. “The humans behind Paragon have been exchanging for over six years now and we have seen user frustrations and pain points. We are solving these one step at a time,” the firm stated.

One of the key features highlighted is greater user control over pricing. Instead of a single rigid rate, the app allows users to propose rates they consider favourable, potentially securing a better deal than fixed-rate platforms.

“We are making trading customer-centred,” the company added. The app also offers complementary services such as bill payments, betting and virtual cards for everyday transactions, positioning it as an all-in-one platform.

Paragon Digitech said this is only the first phase of its plans. “We are rolling out more features to make crypto more attractive to people,” it noted.

By combining practical technology with an understanding of local needs, the company aims to build trust and expand cryptocurrency adoption in Nigeria. It continues to refine the user experience with the goal of making Bitcoin ownership more straightforward for Nigerians seeking alternative ways to store and grow value.
