Nigeria recorded an impressive outing at the 2026 Pan African Mathematics Olympiad (PAMO) held in Yamoussoukrou, Côte d’Ivoire, with students of Nigerian Tulip International Colleges, NTIC, claiming two of the country’s medals.

Out of the six students who represented Nigeria at the continental competition, three were from NTIC, underlining the school’s growing reputation for excellence in mathematics and science education.

Luis Lu, an NTIC Abuja student, won a silver medal after an outstanding performance at the Olympiad.
Ikenna Kingsley Enwere of NTIC Lagos, formerly Bright Sun College, Lagos secured a bronze medal.
Ikenna, who recently emerged as one of Nigeria’s brightest students with a score of 370 in the 2026 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME), added another remarkable achievement to his academic record through his medal-winning performance.

The achievement has been described as a major milestone for Nigeria and a reflection of the sustained investment by NTIC Schools and the Special Maths Academy in nurturing exceptional young talents over the years.

The school said the success reinforces “its commitment to producing champions through quality education, intensive mentorship and academic excellence.

NTIC commended the Nigerian team, the medalists, their parents and teachers, describing the feat as a product of dedication, hard work and strong collaboration.”

The school, in a statement, reaffirmed its resolve to “continue equipping students with the skills and opportunities needed to excel on both continental and global stages, while contributing to Nigeria’s growing reputation in international academic competitions.”
