LAGOS — The Nigerian Content Development and Monitoring Board (NCDMB), in collaboration with BOSS A1 Global Limited, has commenced a five-day training programme on Data Analytics and Business Intelligence for 50 youths in Yaba, Lagos.
The programme, which began on Monday in Yaba, Nigeria’s technology hub, is part of NCDMB’s efforts to strengthen local capacity and equip young Nigerians with digital skills relevant to the oil and gas industry and the broader economy.
Designed and delivered by BOSS A1 Global Limited, the training covers data collection and cleaning, data visualisation, dashboard development, predictive analytics and the application of business intelligence tools for corporate decision-making and operational efficiency.
The participants, drawn from across Lagos State, will receive practical training using industry-standard software and real-life case studies to enhance their employability.
According to the organisers, beneficiaries will also receive mentorship and post-training support to help them transition into employment, freelancing or entrepreneurship within the technology and energy sectors.
The initiative is expected to produce 50 certified professionals in data analytics and business intelligence capable of helping organisations leverage data to improve efficiency, reduce costs and support strategic planning.
Organisers said the programme aligns with NCDMB’s mandate to promote Nigerian content development through capacity building and skills acquisition. Participants will receive certificates of completion at the end of the training programme.
