Humanity Empire Group, HEG, has announced plans to roll out its flagship digital platform, AFRIQA, in a move aimed at strengthening Africa’s digital ecosystem by providing an integrated platform for communication, financial services, commerce, mobility, digital identity and artificial intelligence.

The company said the platform is designed as a unified digital infrastructure that will enable individuals, businesses and governments to access multiple digital services through a single secure ecosystem, with the goal of accelerating digital transformation and economic inclusion across the continent.

Speaking on the initiative, Founder and Group Chief Executive Officer of Humanity Empire Group, Prof. Christopher Chinedumuije, said AFRIQA reflects the company’s commitment to building technology infrastructure that supports economic growth and improves access to digital services across Africa.

According to him, “AFRIQA represents our commitment to building digital infrastructure that empowers Africans to connect, transact, innovate and prosper.
“Our vision is to create one trusted ecosystem where technology serves people, businesses and governments, driving financial inclusion, digital transformation and sustainable economic growth across the continent.”

The company explained that the ecosystem consists of several interoperable platforms, including WayaWaya, a digital wallet, payment and financial services platform; OneMarkaet, a digital marketplace for businesses and consumers; WakaWaka, a smart mobility and electric vehicle ecosystem; Aproko, an artificial intelligence-powered messaging and collaboration platform; Afriqa ID, a digital identity and verification service; Afriqa AI, an intelligent digital assistant; and Afriqa SP, a platform for humanitarian, social protection and government digital services.

According to the Group, the rollout will begin with selected flagship services before expanding to additional digital products and strategic partnerships across Nigeria and other African markets.
It added that the platform has been built with interoperability, cybersecurity, scalability and regulatory compliance at its core, allowing seamless integration with financial institutions, telecommunications operators, government agencies, merchants, developers and other technology partners.

HEG noted that beyond providing digital services, the platform is expected to support entrepreneurship, deepen financial inclusion, expand digital commerce, stimulate innovation and create employment opportunities across Africa’s growing digital economy.

The company also disclosed that it is engaging strategic partners in the banking, payments, telecommunications, mobility, cloud infrastructure, artificial intelligence and public sector digital transformation space to support the deployment and long-term expansion of the ecosystem.
It added that further details on partnerships, pilot programmes and implementation milestones would be announced in the coming weeks.
