The traditional ruler of Okpella Community in Edo State, HRH Michael Sado, has reiterated his commitment to promoting development, peace and security in the community.

Speaking on his vision for the kingdom, Sado said his administration remains focused on initiatives aimed at improving the welfare of residents and advancing community progress.

The monarch highlighted several projects undertaken during his reign, including the construction of a police station to support law enforcement and enhance public safety in the area.

He also disclosed that a security surveillance drone was acquired to complement community policing efforts and strengthen security monitoring within the community.

According to Sado, efforts have also been made to support the revival of the community school as part of measures to improve educational opportunities for young people.

He said the projects form part of a broader agenda to promote sustainable development, strengthen security and improve living conditions for residents.

Sado stressed the importance of leadership that delivers tangible benefits to the people and pledged to continue pursuing initiatives that would have a lasting impact on the community.

“My desire is to ensure that my reign remains memorable for the positive contributions made to the development of our community. I remain committed to serving my people with dedication and a passion for progress,” he said.

The traditional ruler also called on residents to remain united and work together in support of community development, noting that peace, cooperation and mutual respect are essential for sustainable growth.
