A civic group, the Concerned Lagos People’s Assembly, has encouraged the lawmaker representing Ikeja Federal Constituency, Hon. James Abiodun Faleke, to continue prioritising issues affecting his constituents and the development of Lagos State.

The group made the appeal during a press conference in Lagos on Tuesday.

Speaking on behalf of the assembly, its president, Abayomi Odukale, commended Faleke’s contributions to public service and noted that residents of Ikeja look forward to continued representation and advocacy on matters affecting the constituency.

Odukale said the group believes sustained attention to constituency-related issues would further strengthen development efforts and deepen the benefits of democratic representation.

He also expressed confidence in Faleke’s commitment to serving the people who elected him, while acknowledging his longstanding ties to different parts of the country.

The assembly called for continued unity and cooperation among stakeholders within the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC), stressing the importance of collective efforts in advancing development and good governance.

The group further appealed to President Bola Ahmed Tinubu to continue supporting initiatives that promote effective leadership and service delivery across the country.

Reaffirming its commitment to what it described as a “Lagos-First Agenda,” the assembly said it would continue to advocate policies and programmes that enhance the welfare of Lagos residents and contribute to the state’s growth and progress.
