The management of OKF Hangover Drink, organisers of the Ultimate Reality TV Show has concluded its first edition training of young Nigerians targeting talent discovery for self-reliance and job creation.
The show which was held in Lagos housed 16 contestants in the competition and the participants were exposed to different kinds of career training especially on entertainment.
Speaking during the presentation of prizes to the winners and other deals involved, the management said, “The essence of the training is to promote talents among young Nigerians. “We discovered that many Nigerian youths are talented, and they need this kind of training to discover and expose them to the realities of life where they can be able to fend for themselves. It is also another way of reducing unemployment in Nigerian society”.
Winner of the show, Edem Ekpo Asuquo from Cross Rivers state who won a car add to other deals told the media, “I am very excited about winning this competition, I know that I was born to win even though all the contestants struggled to win. It was not an easy task. I feel so excited, overwhelmed with joy. I am grateful to God. Before announcement of the winner from the three finalists, my heart was beating very fast but I have one strong belief that I was going to win, and I won it”.
Asuquo who is now the brand ambassador to OKF Hangover Drink, said, “It was mind blowing staying with different people from different backgrounds, and it was so lovely. It was the training in the house that brought me out of my shell to do great things. I learnt how to accommodate people because we are from different backgrounds but I was able to stay with all the other contestants in a peaceful way. This is my first time participating in a television reality show and I am not regretting participating in this reality television show”.
“With the cash, I will do a lot of things. I will ensure that I meet up to the responsibilities of people who look up to me. Again, I want to say a big thank you to the organisers for giving me this opportunity to become a superstar”.
1st Runner-Up, Damilare Ojo aka Child of Grace, expressing his experience said, “OKF Reality Television show was nothing short of amazing. I came into the house with a lifestyle but later I found out that it was a new learning curve. I found it to be learning a lot of new things. I learnt how to act, do comedy, stand up, harness my music skills, and how to gain confidence and to speak before the crowd”.
I want to thank the organisers of this training competition and our camp director, Dr Victory Emuejekrohwo who exposed us to various tasks which ensured that we became better versions of ourselves. This is my first time attending a reality television show. My take home from this competition is that I learnt how to put in my best and become a better version of myself with confidence”.
Also, camp director, Dr Victory Emuejekarohwo said in every show, there is always an experience to gather from it. “It is my joy to see the contestants being refined from all the things that they have learnt during the show. I want to see all the contestants become great in life as they put all they have learnt into practice and the sky will be a starting point for them”.
