KADUNA — The Southern Kaduna Integrity Forum (SKIF), made up of former members of the campaign structure of ex-Senator Danjuma Laah, has endorsed President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, Kaduna State Governor Uba Sani and Senator Sunday Marshall Katung for re-election, citing performance and development achievements.

Speaking at a press conference in Kaduna on Wednesday, the forum’s convener, Mr. Samuel Tajo, said the decision was based on the perceived impact of the All Progressives Congress (APC)-led administrations at the federal, state and senatorial levels.

Tajo said the group was committed to party interests and regional development rather than individual political ambitions.

“The main objective of this movement is the party that matters, not any individual,” he said.

He added that the forum decided to work with Senator Katung shortly after the APC primaries, describing him as a performer within a short period in office.

According to him, key federal projects such as the Federal University of Applied Sciences, the Federal Medical Centre and other interventions in Southern Kaduna reflected effective representation.

“Look at the Federal University of Applied Sciences, the Federal Medical Centre and other projects across Southern Kaduna,” he said.

Tajo also credited Senator Katung with promoting unity across the eight local government areas in the region, describing his leadership as inclusive and impactful.

He dismissed suggestions that the forum’s position was driven by political convenience, insisting its support had remained consistent since the primaries.

“All the personalities who contested were great leaders,” he said, adding that working for any of them would have still advanced the region’s development.

The forum reaffirmed its support for APC candidates across all levels, urging residents of Southern Kaduna to back Tinubu, Governor Uba Sani and Senator Katung in the next general elections.

They described the endorsed leaders as “builders of development and unity,” calling on supporters to rally behind them for continued progress in the region.
