Nigeria’s top track and field stars will be in action at the USATF Lone Star Grand Prix as Rosemary Chukwuma, Favour Ofili, Ella Onojuvwevwo, and Ezekiel Nathaniel headline the country’s entries for the prestigious meet.

Chukwuma has been listed in a highly competitive women’s 100m event, where she will face a strong field featuring some of the fastest sprinters on the circuit.

In the women’s 200m, Ofili is set for a major test against an elite lineup that includes American stars Gabrielle Thomas and Cambrea Sturgis.

The Nigerian record holder will be aiming to continue her impressive form as she builds momentum for the season.

Meanwhile, Onojuvwevwo will compete in the women’s 400m, where she is expected to continue her development against quality opposition.

Also in action is Nathaniel, who will make his season debut in his specialist event, the men’s 400m hurdles.

The Nigerian record holder will be looking to begin his campaign on a strong note as he targets major international competitions later in the year.

The participation of the quartet underscores Nigeria’s growing presence on the global athletics stage, with the athletes expected to use the USATF Lone Star Grand Prix as an important platform to fine-tune their preparations for upcoming championships.
