A real estate company, Novarick Homes, has launched a new property ownership campaign aimed at helping young Nigerians become landowners through flexible payment arrangements.

The initiative, tagged “Under 40 Landlord,” is tied to the company’s Ayomide Joy City estate located in Moniya, Ibadan, and is targeted at young professionals, entrepreneurs, and salary earners seeking access to affordable property ownership.

According to the company, the initiative was introduced to address the financial barriers preventing many young Nigerians from acquiring land through outright payment.

Under the scheme, subscribers can acquire a 300 square metre plot through monthly payments of N150,000 spread across 24 months, while a 500 square metre plot is available from N250,000 monthly within the same period. The company added that outright purchase options are also available for interested buyers.

Speaking on the initiative, Chief Executive Officer of Novarick Homes, Noah Ibrahim, said many young Nigerians have wrongly assumed that property ownership should only come later in life.

He said: “There is a generation of young Nigerians who are earning, building businesses, and making serious financial decisions, yet they have convinced themselves that land ownership is a privilege reserved for a later chapter of their lives.

“The Under 40 Landlord initiative exists to dismantle that belief entirely.”

Ibrahim noted that the company hopes to encourage early investment in property ownership while helping young Nigerians build a sense of achievement and long-term financial security.

Ayomide Joy City is situated within the Moniya axis of Ibadan, an area that has experienced growing residential and infrastructure development in recent years.

According to the company, the estate is located close to major landmarks, including the Obafemi Awolowo Train Station, the University of Ibadan, and the Ibadan Dry Port.

The development is expected to feature road infrastructure, recreational facilities, green areas, power supply, a residents’ clubhouse, and other amenities designed to support a structured residential community.

Chief Operating Officer of Novarick Homes, Collins Oforgu, said the company has also introduced a rapid allocation process aimed at strengthening subscribers’ confidence.

“The operational promise behind this initiative is just as important as the marketing vision. Every subscriber who makes a first deposit will receive their Provisional Allocation Letter and their personalised plaque within one hour, without exception,” he said.

Oforgu added that the company plans to organise periodic site inspections and landlord induction events for participants under the campaign.

According to the company, the campaign will run across social media platforms including Instagram, TikTok, WhatsApp, and X, alongside collaborations with content creators and online influencers focused on business, lifestyle, and personal finance content targeted at young Nigerians.
