Omefreight Logistics Ltd has announced its official expansion into the Netherlands, a move the company describes as a major milestone in its international growth strategy and a step toward strengthening logistics connectivity between Europe and Africa.

The new entity, Omefreight Netherlands (NL), is expected to serve as a strategic operational base for the company’s European activities, leveraging the Netherlands’ position as one of the continent’s most important logistics hubs.

The development places the firm closer to key trade infrastructure, including the Port of Rotterdam—one of Europe’s largest and busiest maritime gateways—alongside a highly developed transport and distribution network.

Speaking on the expansion, the Director of Operations (Netherlands), Isiguzo Obinna, said the decision to establish a presence in the country was driven by its strategic advantages in global trade and logistics efficiency.

According to him, “The Netherlands was a natural choice for this expansion. Omefreight Netherlands was established with a clear and focused vision: to serve as a bridge between the European and African markets.”

He explained that the company’s dual-continental footprint is designed to improve supply chain efficiency and enhance trade flows between both regions. With operational bases across Europe and Africa, Omefreight aims to position itself as a full-service logistics partner offering end-to-end supply chain solutions.

Strategically located in North Brabant, with its office in Den Bosch, Omefreight Netherlands is positioned to serve key industrial and logistics corridors across the country and neighbouring European markets.

The company says this location enables faster response times and improved service delivery across multiple regions.

Omefreight NL will operate a fleet of vans and trucks to support a wide range of logistics services, including urgent and express deliveries, dedicated transport routes, last-mile distribution, and inter-European shipments. The company also intends to work closely with third-party logistics (3PL) providers, fulfilment centres, distributors, and manufacturing firms.

Management says the focus will be on flexibility, speed, reliability, and improved communication within supply chains—areas often identified as critical challenges in modern logistics operations.

Beyond the Netherlands, Omefreight Logistics NL is already positioning itself to support operations across major European markets including Germany, Belgium, France, and Switzerland, with plans to extend services further across the continent.
