OHCSF announces Jones-Nebo as new Permanent Secretary of Career Management Office

The Office of the Head of the Civil Service of the Federation (OHCSF) has ushered in a new leadership era as Mrs. Nkiruka Jones-Nebo officially assumed duty as Permanent Secretary of the Career Management Office (CMO), following her appointment by President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces.

The handover ceremony took place on Monday, 11th May 2026, at the OHCSF headquarters.

Mrs. Jones-Nebo, in her remarks, expressed appreciation to God for the opportunity to serve, while thanking President Tinubu for her appointment and the Head of the Civil Service of the Federation, Mrs. Didi Esther Walson-Jack, for the confidence reposed in her.

She pledged to promote teamwork, efficiency, and a productive working environment within the office.

The outgoing overseeing Director, Mr. Mohammed Yaro Dantani, provided an overview of the operations of the Career Management Office, describing it as a key unit within the federal civil service structure.

He urged staff to extend full cooperation and support to the new Permanent Secretary to ensure continuity and effective service delivery.

In a vote of thanks, the Director of Learning and Development in the OHCSF, Mrs. Helen Garpiya, appreciated attendees for their participation and prayed for a successful tenure for the new Permanent Secretary.
