Kayode Akintemi, Managing Director and Editor-in-Chief of News Central TV, has been named among the 100 Most Reputable Africans for 2026, highlighting his influence in shaping Africa’s media landscape. The award was presented at a gala held on April 24, 2026, at the Marriott County Hall in London.

The recognition celebrates Akintemi’s leadership, commitment to ethical journalism, and his 35-year track record of transparent media practice. She noted that Akintemi’s achievement not only acknowledges his personal reputation but also strengthens the platform’s mission to inform, inspire, and connect Africans worldwide.
