Strom Foundation has extended its 100 Bright Minds Initiative to Government Junior Secondary School, Jikwoyi in the Federal Capital Territory, Abuja, in commemoration of Children’s Day.

The effort, according to the Foundation, is part of efforts to strengthen education support and mentorship for young learners.

The outreach featured engagement sessions led by the Foundation’s Program Officer, Blessing David-Offiong, who emphasised the importance of early educational support and confidence-building among students at the junior secondary level.

David-Offiong noted that the initiative formed part of Strom Foundation’s continued intervention in schools aimed at encouraging academic growth, mentorship, and personal development among pupils at formative stages of learning.

“Every child deserves more than a seat in a classroom. They deserve the tools, guidance, and confidence to believe that their future is worth preparing for,” he said.

Students participated in an interactive mentorship session where they received learning materials and were encouraged to express their aspirations, ask questions, and engage actively with facilitators.

The outreach also focused on inspiring curiosity, discipline, and a stronger sense of direction among the learners, with emphasis on the role of education in shaping future opportunities.

Strom Foundation said the initiative reflects its commitment to supporting schools and contributing to long-term educational development across communities.
