The seventh edition of the prestigious and highly revered Africa Illustrious Awards is set to hold on June 6, 2026, at the Oriental Hotel, where some of Africa’s finest minds from Nigeria, Kenya, Rwanda, South Africa, Algeria, Egypt, and other leading African nations will converge in celebration of individual, corporate, and institutional excellence across the continent.

Among the distinguished personalities expected at the event are some of Africa’s finest minds and icons of excellence whose remarkable contributions in business, leadership, innovation, entrepreneurship, academia, technology, philanthropy, and public service continue to drive progress and elevate the continent’s global reputation.

The event will also feature special recognition for the 1994 Nigeria national football team and the 1996 Nigeria Olympic football team for their historic achievements which projected African football to global prominence and inspired millions across the continent.
