2027: Epe students, youths back Ogunkelu for another term in Lagos Assembly

Students, youths and their leaders in Epe have endorsed Hon. Ogunkelu Sylvester Oluwadahunsi, who is representing Epe State Constituency Ii, in the Lagos State House of Assembly, for another term.

The endorsement was made after a strategic meeting of student leaders, youth representatives, and stakeholders who unanimously commended the lawmaker for his commitment to youth inclusion, educational support, grassroots development, and consistent representation of the people of Epe Constituency II.

Speaking on behalf of the students’ body,, Ogunsanya Rasheed described Hon. Ogunkelu popularly known as “Sketel” as a leader who has remained accessible to students and young people through empowerment initiatives, educational interventions, and active participation in constituency development.

As part of efforts to mobilize wider support ahead of the next electoral cycle, the students also announced the establishment of the Sketel Students Movement, a coordinated campaign structure aimed at sensitizing, mobilizing, and engaging students and youths across the constituency on the need to sustain purposeful representation.

According to the convener of the movement, the initiative would serve as a platform for student participation in democratic processes while promoting the developmental achievements and people-oriented leadership style of Hon. Ogunkelu.

The movement reaffirmed its commitment to peaceful engagement, grassroots mobilization, and issue-based advocacy in support of continuity and sustained development in Epe Constituency II.

The students further called on youths, community stakeholders, and residents of the constituency to support the re-election bid of Hon. Ogunkelu, noting that continuity remains essential for the consolidation of ongoing projects and developmental strides within the constituency.
