A chieftain of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), in Ogun State and the party’s House of Representatives candidate for Abeokuta South Federal Constituency, Chief Toyin Amuzu, has described the PDP governorship candidate, Chief Oladipupo Adebutu, as a credible, competent and visionary leader with the capacity to move Ogun State forward.

Amuzu stated this while congratulating Adebutu on his emergence as the governorship candidate of the PDP, ahead of the 2027 gubernatorial election in the state.

The PDP stalwart said Adebutu’s emergence had rekindled hope among residents of the State, insisting that the governorship candidate remained one of the most experienced and prepared politicians to lead the state at this critical time.

According to him, Adebutu’s unwavering commitment to the welfare of the people, accessibility and vast understanding of governance clearly distinguished him as the right choice for Ogun people.

“Chief Ladi Adebutu is a man of integrity, humility and proven leadership capacity. He has no baggage of deceit or questionable character. Over the years, he has consistently demonstrated genuine concern for the wellbeing of the people through the use of his personal resources and unwavering commitment to the development of Ogun State,” Amuzu said.

He further described Adebutu as a true son of the soil, whose contributions to the growth and progress of Ogun State had continued to earn him admiration across the state.

Amuzu noted that the PDP governorship candidate’s track record in youth empowerment, community development and promotion of good governance had endeared him to party faithful and the electorate.

“Ogun State deserves a leader with credibility, honesty and a clear vision for sustainable development. Chief Adebutu possesses the qualities and experience needed to reposition the state economically and socially,” he added.

Amuzu stressed that leadership must be anchored on truth, competence and compassion for the people.

“Chief Adebutu has shown over the years that he understands the challenges facing the people and has the experience and practical ideas required to provide lasting solutions,” he stated.

The PDP chieftain also reaffirmed his confidence in the Peoples Democratic Party, describing the PDP as a party committed to democratic ideals and people-oriented governance.

He, therefore, urged party members and residents of the state to rally round Adebutu’s candidacy to ensure victory for the PDP in the 2027 governorship election.

Amuzu expressed optimism that the party would provide purposeful leadership capable of addressing unemployment, insecurity and economic hardship confronting the people of the state.

He congratulated Adebutu once again on his emergence as the PDP governorship candidate and prayed for wisdom, strength and divine guidance for him as preparations intensify ahead of the 2027 election.
