The Tinubu Impact Movement (TIM) on Wednesday visited the Minister of State for Industry, John Owan Enoh, in Abuja, in a move aimed at strengthening collaboration, grassroots mobilisation, and political coordination.
The visit focused on appreciating the minister’s contributions to the administration of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, as well as securing access to verified records of ministerial achievements to support TIM’s advocacy efforts.
Speaking during the meeting, Enoh highlighted the development of Nigeria’s National Industrial Policy as a key achievement of his ministry, describing it as a framework to drive industrial growth, job creation, and private sector expansion.
“My mandate is focused on industry, while the senior minister oversees trade and investment,” he said, noting that the structure ensures accountability and effective delivery.
The minister also reaffirmed his grassroots connection, stating that he remains accessible to constituents in Cross River State.
In his remarks, TIM National Chairman, Obinna Ebirim, described the movement as a data-driven and grassroots-focused organisation committed to documenting and promoting the achievements of the Tinubu administration.
He disclosed that TIM has grown to over 75,000 members across the 36 states and the Federal Capital Territory, with more than 7,000 registered online.
Ebirim added that the movement has established structures across wards, local governments, polling units, and tertiary institutions, with plans to expand into professional bodies.
He noted that about 50 per cent of the membership comprises youths, while over 65 per cent fall within the economically active age bracket of 25–45 years.
On political alignment, he said 95 per cent of members belong to the All Progressives Congress (APC), while about 99 per cent have expressed commitment to support Tinubu in the 2027 elections.
He, however, acknowledged concerns from a minority of members regarding economic hardship and contractor payments, stating that the movement is working to address such issues through engagement and communication.
A major highlight of the visit was the conferment of the TIM Leader title on Enoh in recognition of his contributions to the Renewed Hope Agenda. He was decorated with a symbolic muffler to mark the honour.
The minister also approved the appointment of Sylvester Ogar as TIM Coordinator for Cross River State, citing his grassroots influence and political network.
TIM said the engagement marks a step towards strengthening structured political mobilisation and evidence-based advocacy nationwide.
