Emerging gospel minister Temitope Mausi Jinadu makes a heartfelt entrance into the recording scene with her debut EP, Revival—a concise yet spiritually resonant body of work that reflects her deep-rooted commitment to worship and faith expression.
Known within church circles for her passionate ministrations, Temitope brings the same sincerity and devotional intensity that has defined her journey as a choir mistress into this project. Having served in that capacity since 2020 and currently leading worship at Breath of Life Church Bournemouth, her musical direction is clearly shaped by years of hands-on ministry and leadership in congregational settings.
“Revival” is a two-track offering, but what it lacks in length, it makes up for in spiritual depth. The opening track, Only You Lord, is a solemn declaration of devotion. Built on a gentle arrangement, the song gradually swells into a powerful expression of surrender, allowing Temitope’s vocals to shine with clarity and conviction. Her delivery feels less like a performance and more like a personal prayer—an approach that draws listeners into a reflective space.
The second track, Holy Spirit, leans into a more atmospheric soundscape, invoking a sense of divine presence. Temitope’s decision to preview her music during a live ministration on March 20, 2026, at her home church adds an organic layer to the project’s rollout, reinforcing her identity as a minister first and a recording artist second. This authenticity is perhaps the EP’s greatest strength.
As a debut, “Revival” does not attempt to overwhelm—it invites.
