Oba Saheed Ademola Elegushi Kusenla III, has been commended for his enduring contributions to cultural preservation, community development, and humanitarian causes.
The commendation is contained in a statement issued by the Sterling Bank’s Tourism and Creative Sector Business unit, on the monarch’s 50th birthday celebration.
Abiola describes the milestones as a celebration of “half a century of a remarkable life,” highlighting the monarch’s role as a custodian of tradition and a strong advocate for social progress within his domain.
She noted that Oba Elegushi has, over the years, demonstrated unwavering commitment to promoting Nigeria’s rich cultural heritage while spearheading initiatives aimed at improving the welfare and livelihoods of his people. His reign, it said, has been marked by purposeful leadership and a deep sense of responsibility toward community upliftment.
According to the statement signed by Abiola Adelana, Head of Tourism and Creative Sector Business at Sterling Bank, the institution recognizes the monarch’s visionary approach to leadership and his support for initiatives that drive cultural and economic growth.
Sterling Bank further expressed pride in associating with Oba Elegushi, noting that his values align with its commitment to supporting the tourism and creative industries as key drivers of national development.
She joined other well-wishers in celebrating the royal father, wishing him continued good health, prosperity, and many more years of impactful leadership.
