Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu on Thursday conducted an on-the-spot inspection of the Tolu School Complex in Ajeromi-Ifelodun Local Government Area, ahead of its official commissioning by President Bola Ahmed Tinubu next week.
The governor described the project as a major boost to public education infrastructure in Lagos, noting that the visit was part of final preparations to ensure readiness for the presidential inauguration scheduled for Thursday.
Sanwo-Olu, who toured the facility, assessed the level of completion and the quality of work done, expressing satisfaction with the pace of delivery.
The Tolu School Complex, one of the flagship projects of the state government in the education sector, is expected to enhance learning conditions and expand access to quality education for residents of the densely populated Ajeromi-Ifelodun axis.
Sources at the site said finishing touches were ongoing, with contractors working round the clock to meet the commissioning deadline.
The governor’s visit underscores the state government’s commitment to delivering impactful projects at the grassroots, in line with its development agenda.
President Tinubu is expected to officially inaugurate the complex as part of activities marking key milestones in the administration’s drive to improve social infrastructure and human capital development.
