The Sir Ahmadu Bello Memorial Foundation (SABMF) has congratulated Prof. Shuaibu Shehu Aliyu on his appointment as Executive Secretary/CEO of the Petroleum Technology Development Fund (PTDF) by President Bola Ahmed Tinubu.

In a statement signed by its Director-General, Engr. Abubakar Gambo Umar, SABMF described the appointment as well-deserved, citing Prof. Aliyu’s extensive track record in public service, academia, and institutional leadership.

The Foundation highlighted his recent role at the National Commission for Mass Literacy, Adult and Non-Formal Education and earlier contributions at Arewa House, Ahmadu Bello University as evidence of his capacity to excel in his new assignment.

SABMF expressed confidence that Aliyu would leverage his experience and strategic vision to strengthen PTDF’s mandate, particularly in advancing human capital development, training, and institutional effectiveness.

The Foundation wished him a successful and impactful tenure in service to the nation.
