Redeemer’s University debuts in executive business education

Redeemer’s University Business School has made its debut in executive business education in Nigeria.
The inauguration ceremony of Redeemer’s University, Business School located at Redemption City, Mowe, Ogun State took place on Thursday, April 2, 2026.

The wife of the Visitor to Redeemer’s University and Mother-in-Israel, Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG), Pastor Folu Adeboye, who officially opened the Business School, prayed saying “The Lord that established you today will continue to move you forward,” adding that the progress of everyone involved with the Business School will know no limits.

Prof Oluwatoyin Ogundipe, Pro-Chancellor and Governing Council Chairman of Redeemer’s University, stated that Redeemer’s University Business School was not just another addition to the executive business education, but a necessary solution to build strong men and women of integrity in a world where such virtues have become a rarity.

In his remarks at the inauguration ceremony, the Vice-Chancellor of Redeemer’s University, Prof Shadrach Olufemi Akindele, ffan, fffps thanked the newly appointed board members of Redeemer’s University Business School which included corporate executives, for accepting the mandate to grow the institution to become number one in the industry.

Speaking in the same vein, Pastor Kayode Pitan, Chairman, Board of Trustees, Redeemer’s University, said: “We want to have men and women with integrity, people trusting God to do exploits in the marketplace. We have an excellent curriculum, but more importantly, we will produce people that God will use to change this nation for the better.”

The Managing Director and CEO of Alpha Morgan Bank, Mr Ade Buraimo, expressed his delight at being one of the newly inaugurated board members. He assured that members of the board, most of whom have studied in top-rated global business schools like Harvard, would bring their experience to bear in the operations of Redeemer’s University Business School.

He said, “We will take advantage of our closeness to the commercial nerve centre of the country which is Lagos.

“We wil bring our wealth of knowledge into the management of the Business School to ensure that all our graduates will not just be professionally superior technocrats, but morally sound also.”
