As Africa’s digital and creative sectors continue to expand, new platforms are emerging to drive collaboration and innovation across the continent. One such initiative is the African Creators Conference (ACC) 2026, convened by Nigerian entrepreneur and digital strategist, Omodiale Godwin.

The conference is scheduled to hold from October 30 to 31, 2026, at the Abuja Chamber of Commerce and Industry in Abuja. It is expected to bring together a wide range of participants, including content creators, technology founders, policymakers, investors, and other industry stakeholders.

Organisers describe the event as Africa’s largest convergence of creators and technology professionals, with projected participation of over 20,000 attendees across both physical and virtual formats.

Speaking on the initiative, Co-Convener Godwin Iku Jacob said the conference aims to address the growing need for stronger connections between creativity, technology, and economic opportunity across Africa.

“The future of Africa lies in the strength of its creators and innovators. The goal is to provide a platform where ideas can be exchanged and opportunities explored across sectors,” he said.

Godwin, Founder of Branddek Limited, has experience spanning branding, digital innovation, and social impact initiatives, working with organisations across multiple sectors to enhance visibility and growth.

According to the organisers, the conference programme will feature keynote sessions, panel discussions, exhibitions, masterclasses, and networking engagements. Key discussions will focus on areas such as artificial intelligence, software development, digital media, and content creation.

The event will also explore partnership and investment opportunities, with an emphasis on supporting emerging talent and strengthening Africa’s position in the global digital economy.

Industry stakeholders note that initiatives like ACC 2026 reflect a broader trend of integrating technology and creativity as key drivers of economic growth and innovation across the continent.
