With the Osun State gubernatorial election approaching, the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Ife has reaffirmed its full support for the party’s candidate, Bola Oyebamiji.
Deputy governorship candidate, Mr. Benjamin Adereti, said Senator Iyiola Omisore and the entire party structure in Ife federal constituency are working tirelessly to ensure Oyebamiji emerges victorious in the August 15, 2026 poll.
Speaking at a youth engagement event at the APC State Secretariat in Osogbo on Wednesday, Adereti emphasized unity within the party and called on youths to actively campaign while maintaining peace.
He stated, “The party structure in Ile-Ife, including Senator Iyiola Omisore, Senator Babajide, Sooko Adeleke Adewoyin, and other leaders across Ife-South, Ife-East, and Ife-Central, are all committed to the emergence of Asiwaju Munirudeen Bola Oyebamiji as governor.”
Adereti urged young party members to avoid violence and focus on promoting the candidate to ensure a decisive victory.
APC Zonal Youth Leader, Barrister Adesuyi Daramola, encouraged a door-to-door campaign in support of Oyebamiji in 2026 and President Bola Tinubu in 2027, expressing confidence in the party’s success.
