The National Youth Alliance (NYA) has called on its members across Nigeria and in the diaspora to prepare for active participation in the 2027 general elections by contesting elective positions at all levels.

The group also encouraged members to register with the Action Democratic Party (ADP), expressing optimism about its prospects in the upcoming elections.

NYA Youth President, Aliyu Bin Abbas, made the call in a statement issued on Tuesday in Kaduna.

In the statement signed by his Special Assistant on Media and Publicity, Okpani Jacob Onjewu Dickson, Abbas said the group is expanding its grassroots presence nationwide.

He stated that the alliance aims to strengthen its participation in the democratic process by encouraging members to seek elective office across constituencies.

Abbas also noted that the group’s collaboration with the ADP is expected to enhance its organisational reach at the grassroots level.

He urged members to begin mobilisation and registration processes in preparation for party activities ahead of the electoral timetable set by the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC).

The NYA leadership said it remains committed to encouraging youth participation in politics and promoting broader engagement in governance and national development.
