No APC factions in Delta state –  Okwagbe

The All Progressive Congress, APC’s Chieftain in Delta state, Oviri Okwagbe has stressed that there is no All Progressive Congress, APC factions in Delta state.


While chatting with newsmen, Okwagbe stated that there is no APC, factions in the state; that those pressurizing Senator Ovie Omo-Agege, the former Delta state governorship candidate of the All Progressive Congress, APC in the 2023 general election to contest for the governorship position against Gov. Sheriff Oborevwori are not doing Omo- Agege any good and if he attempt to contest against the present governor, is obvious that he won’t succeed.


Okwaghe, who is the Eni of Ughievwen kingdom noted that Gov Oborevwori has not only come prepared but also ready to deliver and as a listening governor whose approach to state and party issues have demonstrated his foresight and commitment to the people of the state and party members; that his track record, integrity and wisdom has already position him for second term.


He urges all party members to unite to move the party and the state to a greater height; that the governor has determined and will change governance narrative in Delta state in term of human and infrastructural development through his MORE agenda.


Okwagbe also urges members of the political family to support the Gov Oborevwori- led administration for second term and to place their trust on the current administration that has contributed to the vision of a prosperous Delta.


He quickly added that Delta has started witnessing a transformative era under the leadership of Gov Oborevwori, that the initiative started by the governor are commendable; as he called on Delta especially the political class to support the governor to enable him deliver the needed dividend of democracy o the people and Delta state.
