The National Association of Nigerian Students (NANS) has disclosed its decision to purchase the aspirant nomination form for its immediate past President, Comrade Lucky Emonefe, who is vying for the position of member, House of Representatives, Ethiope Federal Constituency, Delta State.

In a statement made available to newsmen by the Vice President, National Affairs of the association, Comrade Tenyo Digbopho, the association invited students across the nation to assemble at the National Headquarters of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Abuja on the 28th of April, 2026, as they plan to obtain the aspirant nomination form for Comrade Lucky Emonefe.

The association noted that the move is in recognition of Comrade Emonefe’s outstanding leadership record, dedication to students’ welfare, and his consistent advocacy for youth inclusion in governance.

According to Comrade Tenyo Digbopho, the gathering is expected to attract a large turnout of students, youth leaders, and stakeholders from across the country, all united in solidarity to demonstrate their support for one of their own.

He further stated that NANS remains resolute in its commitment to promoting credible and youth-oriented leadership, stressing that Comrade Emonefe represents the aspirations of the Nigerian student community and the younger generation at large.

The association therefore called on all students and progressive youths to turn out en masse and be part of this historic moment as they take a bold step in advancing student representation in national politics.
